ELCOT Angadi facilitates Video Conference meetings of Hon’ble President of India, Hon’ble Vice President of India, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Hon’ble Chief Minister and Hon’ble Governor, through empanelled service providers. The role of ELCOT Angadi is limited to facilitation and billing services only. The facilitation charges for the above service is 1% for government departments and 2.5% for PSUs & other Government entities.

I. Purpose

To standardize the procedure followed for Video Conferencing Services.

II. Procurement Governance

All procurements adhere to Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and Rules 2000 as amended.

III. Guidelines:

1. a.a. ELCOT floats a rate contract tender for empaneling the vendors for providing video conferencing services on rental basis.
2. b.b. User Departments availing Video conferencing services shall place the request to ELCOT.
3. c.c. ELCOT will engage the rate contract vendor to conduct the feasibility survey to know the site conditions.
4. d.d. ELCOT will issue work order to the rate contract vendor.
5. e.e. The vendor will arrange for appropriate internet connectivity and hardware equipments such as display, camera, audio system, laptops will be supplied on rental basis at both the places.
6. f.f. On completion of the video conferencing services, the final invoice as per the rate contract prices is sent to the user department. The user department shall settle the payment to ELCOT.
