The AIS Laptop Scheme allows All India Service (AIS) officers in Tamil Nadu, including new recruits, to purchase laptops, tablets, or i-Pads of their choice via the ELCOT Portal (elcotangadi.tn.gov.in) using the ELCOT Rate Contract. ELCOT will also provide technical back-up support for 3 years during the warranty period. This scheme also covers replacing equipment that is more than 5 years old. Officers will be reimbursed up to ₹80,000 (inclusive of taxes) or the actual invoice amount, whichever is lower, upon submitting original invoices.
